Map Integration Toolkit

October 20–21: cost $1,000

Trainer: Paul Reavis

Focus: Introduction to developing custom applications for the Map Viewer with the Map Integration Toolkit.

This class begins with an overview of the Partner 4.x platform, including its architecture, file layout, configuration and scripting. Students then learn hands-on by building a dispatching-type application and a data-collection-type application. Each application includes map display, data entry, and reporting functions.

This class is part of our Development training track. It is intended for IT staff, power users, third-party developers and integrators, and managers who want to learn the capabilities of the system.

Internet access, laptops, and lunch are provided.

Development Workshop

October 22–23: cost $1,000

Trainers: Paul Reavis and Brad Gray

Focus: Developing your own applications with the Map Integration Toolkit, with assistance from Partner personnel.

This is a free-form workshop rather than a formal class. Attendees must have taken the Map Integration Toolkit class at a previous time (i.e., not right before the workshop), be comfortable with Partner development, and have a specific project they are working on.

Internet access, laptops, and lunch are provided. Feel free to bring your own laptop, however. Bring everything needed for your project, including your own Partner installation.

Work Flow Automation

October22–23: cost $1,000

Trainer: Eric Wagoner

Focus: Management of the Partner system and optimizing work flow using Partner tools.
