We only have one phone number (800-964-1833) which is used for both sales and service. We do not have voice mail because we want every call answered by our staff and every problem understood during the first call. Our customers have the cell and home phone numbers of every one of our staff so they never need wait for office hours to resolve a problem. About 70% of incoming calls are resolved during the phone call. We take documentation seriously. Our user documentation is carefully crafted and reviewed to assure that the end user can be trained easily and will understand completely how to use the software. Our system is open to extension by customers and third-parties. The software installation, configuration, and customization instructions are very extensive and are updated every working day. We depend on this same documentation for our own work. HistoryPartner Software began as a group within Exploration Resources, a computing and environmental services company. Partner spun off in January 1997 to commercialize map viewing technology originally developed for environmental monitoring studies. GreyStone Power Corporation, a Georgia electric power distribution cooperative, served as our co-developer and first customer. GreyStone provided the product concept, field engineering expertise, usability requirements, and expert testing that made the first program - "Staking Partner" - a success. The initial field tool expanded into an enterprise-class product, with interfaces to a variety of other systems. The system also grew to address work flow and other issues. And the map viewer evolved into our Map Integration Toolkit, a platform for map-based applications of all kinds. There are now more than 100 utilities using our software. These utilities provide power to more than 3.2 million consumers. FinancialsPartner Software is a privately-held corporation located in Athens, Georgia. Over 95% of the stock is held by current employees. The company does not publicly release financial statements but has been profitable every year since 2001 and has no debt. For 2006, our revenue mix was about 45% continuing license fees, 39% new sales and installation, 8% from training and conferences, and 8% for consulting services for existing clients. We intend to grow slowly and to maintain our focus on our software and our clients. We work hard developing our associations to other software companies and service providers. Our goal is to continue to grow the ability of the service provider to provide installation and consulting support to our clients. |
