Check In of the Field Designer

The Field Designer communicates with the System Hub by a Check In. To update the jobs assigned to you in the Field Designer, you need to check in to your system periodically by opening the Field Designer job screen and selecting the Job tab.

Press the Check in button. When you check in, jobs on which you have worked since your last check in will be sent back to the office and updated. New jobs that have been assigned to you will be loaded onto your computer, and jobs that you have released will be removed from your computer.

When the check-in process begins, a small box similar to the following will appear on the screen, reporting the check-in progress and listing the jobs sent and received. When the check-in process is complete, press the OK button.
